You can choose any of the two process, please make sure you have the required information or documents.   

Aadhaar-Based DSC requirements:

1. Aadhaar Number is mandatory.
2. Mobile number need to be link with Aadhaar (you can verify this information at https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/verifyAadhaar) 
3. Smart Phone or Laptop with Web-Cam.
4. In-case you want to use DSC for Income Tax or GST purpose please mention your PAN number in the application form.

PAN-Based DSC requirements:

1. Recent color photo (passport-size)
2. Smart Phone or Laptop with Web-Cam
3. Scan copy of original documents (PAN & Address Proof) is mandatory
4. Document which can be use as address proof:
   1. Aadhaar card
   2. Driving License (DL)/ Registration Certificate (RC)
   3. Voter ID Card
   4. Indian Passport
   5. GST registration certificate.
